N. Vijayan Pillai is a member of 14th Kerala Legislative Assembly. He represents Chavara constituency in the Kerala Legislative Assembly. He started his political career as a Panchayat Member in 1979, and continued so for 20 years. In 2000, he became a member of District Panchayat.He is the son of Narayanan Pillai, a veteran RSP leader.
