Durga Soren was a leader of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and a member of Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. He was the son of JMM chief Shibu Soren and the husband of Sita Soren, who is a current Member of Jharkhand Legislative Assembly from Jama constituency.
