Hayatullah Hayatis an Afghan politician and previous governor of Nangarhar Province. Hayat was appointed as governor of Kandahar Province in February 2019, when the former governor, Zalmai Wesa was injured in the attack by the Taliban in which the police chief of Kandahar Abdul Raziq Achakzai also got killed.
