Itbayat, officially the Municipality of Itbayat, is a municipality in the province of Batanes in the Region 2 of the Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 2,867 people.Itbayat is the country's northernmost municipality, located 156 kilometers from the southernmost tip of Taiwan.
