Jagadish Shivappa Shettar is an Indian politician belonging to Bharatiya Janata Party, who served as the 15th Chief Minister of Karnataka from 2012 to 2013. He has subsequently served as Leader of the Opposition in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. Earlier, he was the Speaker of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly during 2008–2009. Currently he represents Hubli-Dharwad Central Vidhan Sabha seat.
