Jean-Jacques Aillagon is a French politician, a close confidant of Jacques Chirac and member of the Union for a Popular Movement political party. From 1972 to 1976 he was a high school teacher in the Corrèze region of France. From 1982 to 2002 he was an administrator and eventually Chairman of the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris.
