Mehdi Taremi is an Iranian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Primeira Liga club FC Porto and the Iran national team.Taremi played for Persepolis between 2014 and 2018. He has been the top scorer of the Persian Gulf Pro League on two occasions. He also won Primeira Liga joint top scorer in 2019–20. Taremi made his first appearance for the Iran national team in 2015.
