The National Film Development Corporation Malaysia, abbreviated FINAS, is the central government agency for the film industry of Malaysia. FINAS is similar to the Motion Picture Association of America in the United States. In 2012, Filem Negara Malaysia was merged with FINAS to form a single agency. Actor Hans Isaac was the Chairman of Finas from 10 April 2019 to 22 May 2020, succeeding Samsuni Mohd Nor. He was taken over by Zakaria Abdul Hamid on 23 May 2020.
