Pramod Vyankatesh Mahajan was an Indian politician from Maharashtra. A second-generation leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he belonged to a group of relatively young "technocratic" leaders who lacked a reasonably strong grassroot political base, although he was fairly popular in his home state.
