Raed Arafat is a Syrian-born Romanian intensive care physician of Palestinian origin, specialised in anesthesiology. He founded the Mobile Emergency Service for Resuscitation and Extrication with the help from the Romanian Fire Fighting Brigade represented by Lt.-Col Mircea Pintilie.
