Khyber Pakhtunkhwa saw the most attacks.This report further shows that TTP is resurging in the former FATA region and "this time with a new ideology and mfesto."In the 2020 Country Reports on Human Rights Practices, the US State Department earlier this week had said that militants and terrorist groups, including the Tehrik-i-Taliban in Pakistan (TTP), Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, and the Islamic State Khorasan Province targeted civilians, journalists, community leaders, security forces, law enforcement officers, and schools, killing and injuring hundreds with bombs, suicide attacks, and other forms of violence."Throughout Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the newly merged districts, there continued to be attacks by militant groups on security forces, tribal leaders, and civilians.
