Thakur Raja Singh, best known as Raja, is a member of the Telangana Legislative Assembly representing the Goshamahal assembly constituency in Hyderabad. He is a former member of TDP Telugu Desham Party and later joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. Singh also occupies the position of party whip for Telangana.Singh has pending cases against him relating to his multiple controversial comments about Islam.
