Aurangabad, Dec 17:
Vice-chancellor of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University Dr Pramod Yeole appointed one department head and two deans as a member on Management Council. The announcement was made on Thursday.
The tenure of each member will be for the two and a half years. Dean of Science and Technology faculty Dr Bhalchandra Waykar, dean of Inter-disciplinary and Humanities faculties Dr Chetna Sonkamble and head of Computer Science Department Dr Sachin Deshmukh were appointed MC members.
The MC meeting was held in CFART auditorium today. This was the first meeting of pro-vice-chancellor Dr Shyam Shirsath along with the three new members. Registrar Dr Jaishree Suryavanshia welcomed the new members. A total of 26 proposals came up for discussions tabled. As many as 20 members were present.
