Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Following the declaration of the SSC examination results, the admission process for Class 11 conducted by the Directorate of Education (Secondary and Higher Secondary) has gathered pace across the State.

The Directorate of Education had already commenced the online application submission process for the centralised online admission procedure for the academic year 2026–27 since the last month. Since the SSC results were expected shortly, students had been permitted to fill Part-1 of the admission form from April 10 onwards.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education announced the results of the February–March 2026 SSC examination on Friday, leading to increased activity in the admission process. Between April 10 and May 8, more than 7.74 lakh students completed Part 1 of the online application form.

From Monday onwards, students have also been provided the facility to complete both Part-1 and Part-2 of the centralised online admission process for Class 11 through the official portal, mahafyjcadmissions.in.

The admission procedure for this academic year will be conducted in five rounds. These include three regular rounds, a fourth round open to all eligible students, and a special fifth round exclusively for girls.

The Education Department has appealed to students and parents to complete the online registration process carefully by following all the guidelines and instructions.. The detailed schedule regarding the zero round and Regular CAP Round-1 of the centralised online admission process for Class 11 for the academic year 2026–27 is being released.
