Biker Jumps to Safety

A serious accident was narrowly avoided on Monday morning at Oasis Chowk after a speeding motorcycle came face to face with a truck as the signal turned green. The biker’s timely jump and the truck driver’s swift braking prevented tragedy.

Pramod Jadhav (Kannad), riding (MH-21-BB-6035) towards Bajajnagar, allegedly sped ahead and landed in front of truck CG 07 AX 2942 driven by Bharat Singh from AS Club towards Waluj. Sensing danger, Jadhav jumped off while the truck driver applied emergency brakes, stopping the bike from going under the vehicle. The motorcycle was damaged, and a brief crowd and traffic congestion followed. Traffic police rushed to the spot after a 112 alert. The truck was taken to MIDC Waluj police station for further action.
