17 organisers & DJ Operators booked for loud DJ Music during Dr Ambedkar Jayanti

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: A total of 17 DJ operators and organisers were booked with the police for playing loud music during the Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti celebrations. The action was taken late Tuesday night by the Kranti Chowk Police following instructions from seniors.

Despite appeals not to play DJs during the celebrations, loud music was played on April 13 and 14 in the Kranti Chowk and Sille-Khana areas. Police said that their warnings were ignored.

Those booked in the case include Ramakant Ingle, Ravi Jadhav, Siddhesh Gate, president of Kailas Gaikwad Mitra Mandal, Shubham Gavale, Nikhil More, Santosh Lokhande, president of the Old Baijipura Jayanti Utsav Committee, Aditya Shelke, Anil Magre, a DJ operator known as Karadwala Dolby operator, Abhijit Jadhav, Dipak Nikalje, Rahul Makasare, Ajay Ragade, Sumedh Jadhav, and members of Rajiv Jawalikar Yuvak Mandal.

Police have initiated legal action against all the accused for violating noise regulations and disregarding official instructions.
