2 motorcyclists snatch gold chains amounting Rs 74K of woman

Aurangabad, May 31:

Two motorcyclist thieves snatched two gold chain of a woman while she was going home after purchasing medicines from a medical store at Cidco Waluj Mahanagar on Sunday evening.

Meena Pralhad Ghule (55, Cidco Waluj Mahanagar) on Sunday at around 7 pm went to purchase medicines to a medical shop with her daughter Amita Santosh More. While they were returning home, two thieves came on a motorcycle and snatched two gold chain from the neck of Meena Ghule near Kabir Court Function Hall. Meanwhile, she got hold of one the chain and hence the snatchers could not take the entire chain. But, they managed to take one and a half chains. The police are now checking the CCTV footages in this area. A case has been registered at the Waluj MIDC police station on the complaint lodged by Adv Pralhad Ghule.
