21 city, rural police personnel to receive DG Insignia on Maharashtra Day
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar
A total of 21 police personnel three officers and eight personnel from the city police, and two officers and eight personnel from the rural police have been selected for this year’s Director General of Police (DG) Insignia and commendation certificate for exemplary and unblemished service.
The felicitation ceremony will be held on Friday at the divisional commissioner office. Special inspector general of police Virendra Mishra, commissioner of police Pravin Pawar, superintendent of police Dr Vinay kumar Rathod and additional superintendent of police Annapurna Singh congratulated the awardees.

Police inspector Praveena Yadav, police sub-inspectors Narayan Purke and Harish Khatavkar, assistant police sub-inspectors Sudhakar Misal, Mahendra Chavan and Dilip Modi, police head constables Sanjay Gavande, Ashraf Sayyed, Prakash Gaikwad and Shafik Shaikh, police constable Chattarsingh Jarwal.
Rural police
Police inspector Satyajit Taitwale, assistant police inspector Bharat More, police sub-inspectors Jagannath Ubale, Balu More, Dilip Patil, Raju Golde and Bharat Shinde; police head constables Parmeshwar Ade, Ravi Kirtikar and Dipak Suroshe.

Police inspector Praveena Yadav
With over 18 years of service, Yadav has solved serious offences and played a key role in cyber police operations, helping recover lakhs of rupees for complainants in online fraud cases. While posted at Vedantnagar police station, she was instrumental in arresting accused in cheating cases from other states.

Police inspector Satyajit Taitwale
Directly recruited as police sub-inspector in 2009, Taitwale has served in Gondia, Mumbai and both city and rural units of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. In 18 years of service, he has received 377 rewards and 31 commendation certificates.
