25-year-old motorcyclist killed on the spot in bolero collision

A 25-year-old youth died on the spot in a horrific accident between a Bolero jeep and a motorcycle near Kerhala Phata on the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar–Jalgaon highway on Sunday around 9.30 pm.

The deceased has been identified as Ajay Jogdande (Nillod, Sillod). According to information received, Ajay had gone to Kerhala Phata with a friend on his motorcycle (MH-20-BX-1911) to fetch water. While taking a turn at the junction, a speeding Bolero jeep (MH-12-NE-5598) coming from the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar side rammed into the motorcycle. Ajay died on the spot in the accident. He was cremated on Monday afternoon in a grief-stricken atmosphere.

Married just four months ago

Ajay was working at a hotel near Chinchkheda to support his family. Notably, he had gotten married just four months ago. His untimely death has left the Jogdande family devastated. He is survived by his parents, wife, brother, and sister. A case has been registered at the Wadod Bazar police station.
