Latur: Against the backdrop of the NEET paper leak, a parent of a girl student on Tuesday night personally approached Latur superintendent of police Amol Tambe and complained that as many as 42 questions in a pre-NEET mock test conducted by a coaching class in the city were identical to those asked in the actual examination.

In the complaint lodged with the SP Tuesday night, the parent stated that before the NEET-2026 examination, a coaching class operator in Latur had provided a mock test paper to students of the institute. Out of those questions, 42 appeared exactly the same in the NEET (UG) 2026 held on May 3.

Referring to the cancellation of NEET by the National Testing Agency on Tuesday, the parent has alleged in the complaint that a coaching class in Latur may have been linked to the paper leak case.

Taking serious note of the complaint, SP Tambe has directed Latur city deputy SP Samirsingh Salve to conduct an immediate inquiry into the matter and initiate legal action against those found guilty.
