Aurangabad, Nov 24:

Mahavir International Center and Sevabhavi Sanstha conducted a free heart check-up and treatment camp at Ulkanagari here recently. The camp was held on the occasion of the birthday of Rajendra Darda, Editor-in-Chief of Lokmat and founder advisor of the organization.

The camp was inaugurated by chartered accountant G M Bothra. Cardiologist at Anandrishi hospital in Ahmednagar, Dr Amit Thopte, Dr Rahul Arante, Dr Ravindra Yelikar, Dr Sujata Gaikwad examined 45 patients. They were assisted by eight nurses and other staff. All patients underwent ECG and blood sugar tests. It was informed that 3 patients who need angiography will be examined free of cost. The camp was attended by patients from the city and surrounding areas. Dr Akshay Thole of the Mahavir Diagnostic Center, Mohammed Inzamam, Sachin Katare, Sandesh Sathe and others took efforts.
