Aurangabad, March 3:
A 90-year-old woman Kadubai Baburao Ambhore (resident of Cidco N-11 sector), today got administered Covid-19 vaccine at the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation's (AMC) primary health centre at Cidco N-11 sector in the morning. The lady took the vaccine along with her son Sahebrao Ambhore (of age 65 years).
It so happened that there was a rush of senior citizens and others to get the vaccine at the centre. However, when the AMC staff noticed the arrival of the aged Kadubai, she was given preference for the vaccine considering her age. The centre-head, Dr Ravi Savare, administered the vaccine to her. He claimed that it is a very special moment for him as he had given the vaccine to such an elderly aged person for the first time.
