99.96 percent students pass in Aurangabad division

Aurangabad, July 16:

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) released the results for SSC on Friday. The results of Aurangabad division were also announced with 1,76,223 (99.96 percent) students qualifying in the division. The passing percentage of boys is 99.95 per cent and girls is 99.97 per cent. The highest number of students are in the distinction category and the lowest in the pass grade.

In all, 1,76,302 students had registered in Aurangabad division. Out of which 1,76,290 students were evaluated. Out of which 1,76,223 students have passed. Out of the total results, 99.96 percent of students passed. There are 96,542 students in distinction with more than 75 per cent marks, 71,774 in the first division (60 to 74 per cent), 7,721 in the second division (45 to 59 per cent), while only 186 students are in the pass grade. In all, 8,870 students had registered for the re-examination. Out of which 8,849 students have passed. A total of 81.04 percent of students passed. There are 59 students in distinction, 340 in first division, 333 in second division and 6,440 students in the pass grade. Over 13,174 proposals were received for art marks and 790 proposals were received for sports marks. Results of 1,267 candidates have been reserved. The board has also been informed that many of the students in the reserved results have either not submitted their documents or have died due to accident, corona and natural death. Deputy director of education Anil Sable, education officer Dr B B Chavan and board officials were present.

Results will increase after correction

Divisional secretary of the MSBSHSE Sugata Punne informed that the results of 1,063 re-examinees, 174 external students and 67 regular students are reserved in the division. The results will be released after completion of documents. The schools are being asked to contact the board and rectify the errors. After correction, the results will increase. Students must contact schools in case of errors in mark-sheets. All assessment processes have been done at school level. Re-evaluation facilities will not be available at any level for this examination.
