Aurangabad, Dec 6:

The works of crop insurance and compensation due to unseasonal rains were pending as the tehsildar’s posts in Aurangabad rural been lying vacant for the past many days.

It may be noted that the State Government transferred 23 deputy collector and 27 tehsildars in Marathwada on October 1. The transfers which are generally done in May were made in October because of lockdown. Dr Krishna Kangule tehsildar of Aurangabad rural was transferred to Aundha Nagnath. No one sent on his place.

This has affected the works of crop insurance and compensation of crop loss.
