Aurangabad, March 16:

The Association of Civil Contractor and Engineer (ACCE) has decided to hike the labour charges for new construction. The decision was taken in a meeting held recently. Giving more information, association president Rajendra Nimbalkar said, the rising construction cost has made it difficult for the contractors to continue their work. The cost has remained the same for the past ten years. Hence the association has decided to hike the labour charges to Rs 200 for a 260 sq ft area and Rs 300 for ply construction. The construction with the material will cost Rs 1,300. The association has appealed to its members to implement the price hike with immediate effect.
