Action against traders ignoring RT-PCR test

Aurangabad, June 15:

The city has been completely unlocked since June 7. In rural areas, all shops, hotels, bars and restaurants have been open till 4 pm. Against this backdrop, the seven day deadline given to traders and their employees for RT-PCR tests has now expired. District collector Sunil Chavan on Tuesday warned that action would be taken against traders who do not conduct RT-PCR tests from Friday.

While unlocking all shopkeepers, hotel, restaurant and bar owners were instructed by the administration to conduct corona tests. A deadline of 7 days was given for tests. The deadline ended on June 14. District collector warned of strict action against traders who did not undergo tests during this period. Instructions have been issued to the municipal corporation, Zilla Parishad, and municipal councils to take action. Collector Chavan said that the market is crowded after unlock and most citizens, traders are ignoring the corona regulations. Mobile teams of the municipal corporation, ZP, tehsil offices have been instructed to appeal to traders to conduct corona tests immediately. After that, punitive action will be initiated.
