According to police inspector Dilip Gangurde, the fire caused an estimated loss of Rs 44 to Rs 60 lakh across 18 shops, as claimed by the affected shop owners. Additionally, items at the back of two houses, including air conditioners, water tanks, and doors, suffered damages exceeding Rs 1 lakh.
