AMC seeks vaccine data from private hospitals

Aurangabad, May 22: The government has provided 3.10 lakh Covishield and Covaxin doses to the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) so far. Initially, Covaxin doses were given to the private hospitals but the AMC has not received any information about them from the hospitals. Hence, the administration has served notices to the private hospitals seeking details.

The vaccine data of the private hospitals is not available online. This fact came to the fore during the meeting with the district collector, two days back. Hence, the AMC has sought the details of the persons vaccinated online and offline from the hospitals.

Meanwhile, 482 persons wandering without reasons on the city roads were tested on Saturday, of which one was found Corona positive. Every person entering the city was tested of whom 12 were found positive, the sources said.
