AMC detects 7 COVID patients in city

Aurangabad, Feb 1:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 146 antigen and 674 RT-PCR tests (total 820 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and traced seven Covid-19 patients today.

The health teams conducted 63 antigen tests at the CCCs and detected five persons as infected. The AMC personnel also held 119 RT-PCR tests at the CCCs. Meanwhile, by visiting different parts of the city, the mobile teams have conducted 72 antigen tests and detected two Covid-19 patients. It also collected swab collection of 499 suspects for RT-PCR tests.

According to AMC data, the GMCH conducted ten RT-PCR tests, and private laboratories performed 46 on Monday. The private laboratories also conducted 11 antigen tests and found no infected patient. The AMC will be receiving the reports of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
