Aurangabad, June 19:

The state government has issued a transfer order of Aurangabad Municipal Corporation's (AMC) deputy commissioner Shivaji Gaoli as additional commissioner to Latur Municipal Corporation. Meanwhile, the Urban Development Department (UDD) has issued an order to fill up this vacant post through granting promotion to the assistant municipal commissioner Santosh Tengade.

It may be noted that Gaoli joined AMC on a deputation basis in January 2021. Earlier, he was given charge of the election section and other important sections. After the transfer of AMC's deputy commissioner, Sumant More as an additional commissioner to Amravati Municipal Corporation, all his important sections including Establishment Section were given to Gaoli.

Meanwhile, the assistant commissioner and ward officer Santosh Tengade joined AMC on deputation, one year ago. He was looking after Zone No. VIII. Now, on the orders of the UDD, he has been granted promotion as deputy commissioner.
