It is learnt that the then-mayor Nandkumar Ghodele had not conducted the meeting, but referring to it, the signatures of the commissioner, additional commissioner and deputy commissioner had been taken in the past. The report mentioned that the school education committee had given temporary authority for the appointment of teachers.

The acting education officer (AMC) Ramnath Chaure said, " I took the charge of acting education officer recently. These appointments were made before I took over the office. I have not made any appointments. It is wrong to appoint teachers referring to the date on which GB was not held. I will verify the dates. We will also check whether the approval of seniors was taken or not."
