Aurangabad, Oct 30:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) filed offences against three persons for speaking rudely to the municipal commissioner A K Pandey and the head of solid waste management (SWM) cell Nandkishore Bhombe when the duo was inspecting the proposed garbage processing plant at Harsul. The cases are registered against Vilas Bhale, Rafiq Pathan and Ganesh Bhale.

The AMC officials had visited the garbage plant on Wednesday. During the interaction, the above three persons clarified that they own the land, and would not give it for the plant. They also stopped processing work at the site. Hence the civic chief told them to produce the ownership documents if they are the land-owners. In a rage, Vilas Bhale spoke to the municipal commissioner impolitely. Hence Pandey''s security guard Kalyan Gadekar intervened and pushed him to a side to pacify. However, the angry trio then jostled the security guard. As a result, the AMC lodged a complaint against them for obstructing government work. Further investigation is on.
