Aurangabad, Jan 7:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has decided to conduct a rehearsal (Dry Run) of the Covid-19 vaccine at its primary health centre in Cidco N-8 sector, tomorrow (January 8) morning.

The municipal officer of health (MoH) Dr Neeta Padalkar said, " We have selected 25 personnel (doctors and paramedical staff) for a dry run to be implemented from 9 am to 11 am."

However, MoH clarified that the AMC is not giving any Covid-19 vaccine to these selected 25 persons. They are just the part of the run to test our working system, understand practical difficulties and improve the same, before the implementation of Covid-19 vaccination programme, soon. We have not received any stock of Covid-19 vaccine, explained Dr Padalkar.

It may be noted that the Dry Run is being held nationwide on January 8. After the dry run''s success, the AMC will act upon the state''s directives and roll out the Covid-19 vaccine to the registered doctors and paramedical staff through 122 booths in the city.
