The Aurangabad Smart City Development Corporation Limited (ASCDCL) today organised a workshop, as a part of the National Road Safety Week, to mark the second anniversary of the Smart City Bus Service, at Mukundwadi Bus Depot.

The ASCDCL had started bus service in the city from January 23, 2019. Now, a fleet of 100 buses is serving people successfully.

The officials of ASCDCL's bus division also interacted with the passengers and other citizens at Aurangapura, Cidco, Mahaveer Chowk, Railway Station and Ranjangaon to know the feedback about bus service. ASCDCL also presented flowers to the passengers on occasion.

An interactive orientation workshop organised for the Smart City bus drivers, conductors and mechanics turned out to be very fruitful. The corporate trainer Nadeem Pasha helped the staff understand the importance of safety and synergy in the sustainability of the bus services with the help of interactive activities.

Smart City bus division's chief operating officer Prashant Bhusari, deputy manager (operation and maintenance), Lalit Ostwal, and other O&M officials including Vishal Khillare, Siddharth Bansod, Vilas Katkar, D R Rawate and Manik Nila were also present at the workshop.
