Aurangabad, Feb 15:

To uplift the socio-economic status of youths staying in slums of the city, the Aurangabad Smart City Development Corporation Limited (ASCDCL) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Lighthouse Communities Foundation (LCF) to impart skill development training today. The five-year-long MoU was signed in the presence of the district guardian minister Subhash Desai by the ASCDCL chief executive officer Astik Kumar Pandey and the LCF chief executive officer Ruchi Mathur. Sterlite Technologies is the donor partner in the project.

LCF will be responsible for starting the functioning of the project (in phases) with the assistance of ASCDCL. Additional CEO of ASCDCL Arun Shinde, AMC city engineer S D Panzade, deputy commissioner Aparna Thete and Nandkishore Bhombe were present on occasion.
