Bamu launches 3 certificate courses in tourism

Aurangabad, Jan 19:

The Tourism Administration Department of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) has launched three new skill-based certificate courses ‘Medical Tourism, Ambedkar Tourism and Buddhist Tourism’

from the current academic courses.

Vice-chancellor Dr Pramod Yeole announced the courses' launching on name extension day and 27th foundation of the Tourism Administration Department.

Dr Madhuri Sawant and Department head Dr Rajesh Ragade are the course coordinator. Graduate of any stream is eligible to apply for the course which will be conducted online. Many self-employment opportunities would be available through the courses.

Certificate Course in Buddhist Tourism will be useful for international students, Buddhist monks, travel agents and tour operators. The medical tourism is in good demand as many patients from abroad comes to the city for the treatment. So, the course was launched. It is useful for doctors, paramedical staff, students and others.
