Aurangabad, June 9:

The Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University has released subject-wise vacant seats of Ph D admissions.

The Ph D admission process was divided into two phases. In the first phase, the university conducted two papers of the Ph D Entrance Test (PET) from January to March 2021 for Ph D admissions in 45 subjects within its jurisdiction.

The second phase was to begin in March, but it was postponed because of the spread of the pandemic virus.

The university started registration for the second phase on June 7and continues until June 30.

A total of 4,299 candidates were declared eligible for the second phase. Also, those who have qualified M Phil, NET,SET, JRF, GATE, GPAT and other national tests exempted from PET can register in the second phase. The students were waiting for the vacant seats with research guides that were released. This will help the researchers to know their possibility of getting a research guide.

All those who will register will have to give the presentation about the research project before the Research and Recognition Committee of the respective subject.

The name of the subjects, a list of which was released, included English, Marathi, Commerce, Hindi, Urdu, Chemistry, MBA, Library Science, Physics, Physical Education, Social Work, Sociology, Zoology, Botany, Geography.
