Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Young artists from Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University will present their art at the 'Raj Bhavan in Mumbai, under the 'Ek Bharat- Shreshtha Bharat campaign.

Dr Kailas Ambhure, Director of the Student Development Board said that cultural programs are organised at the Raj Bhavan on foundation day of various States in the presence of Governor C P Radhakrishnan. He said that last year, the university team participated in the cultural programme of North East India and won a prize of Rs 1 lakh.

This year, a cultural programme will be held on March 22 at Durbar Hall, Raj Bhavan, Mumbai to mark the anniversary of the State of Bihar. Vice Chancellor C P Radhakrishnan, Vice Chancellor Dr Vijay Fulari and other dignitaries will be present.

A total of 22 young artists from the university will present Bihar's State song, Zhidiya, Jarpatit dance and Bhojpuri songs as well as sculptures. The artists have received guidance from director Dr Kailas Ambhure, team Manager Gautam Sonawane, Dr Sanjay Sangvikar and Sanjay Jadhav. The team has been doing practice for the last ten days.

The team comprises Aishwarya Kale, Aniket Khajekar, Appa Shrisundar, Harshada Mangalargi, Hemlata Dhamune, Jagruti Pawar, Jui Mahajan, Kartiki Jadhav, Pawan Kamble, Ritesh Shingare, Rohit Jadhav, Sadhana Vithore, Sangar Sonawane, Sakshi Dhanwai, Saloni Jumde, Shubham Nisargana, Somesh Mungse, Subhash Valvi, Swapnil Awhad, Utkrish Bochre, Vaibhav Paithane, Yogesh Kadam.
