Two bike-borne snatchers sped away with a young man’s mobile phone near MIT College at Kamgar Chowk on April 14 around 9.30 pm.

According to police, Digvijay Patil (29), a resident of N-4, was walking towards MIT College from Kamgar Chowk while talking on his phone when the accused arrived on a sports bike from behind. Slowing down near him, the snatchers quickly grabbed the mobile phone from his hand and fled towards MIT Hospital. Patil tried to chase the accused, but they escaped in the darkness. A case has been registered at the Pundliknagar police station and further investigation is underway.
