Aurangabad, Nov 25:

The local unions of BSNL officers and employees will be participating in the nationwide general strike, called on by all unions of BSNL, on November 26. The agitation aims at drawing the attention of the government towards their demands like introducing BSNL''s 4G service, the revival of the organisation etc.

Apart from 4G service issue, the other demands include settlement of third wage revision with effect from January 1, 2017, stop retrenching of contract workers, settle pension revision, cash transfer of Rs 7,500 per month for all non-income tax paying families, withdrawal of circular on forced the premature retirement of government and PSU employees etc.
