Aurangabad, Jan 14:

An Integrated Command and Control Centre (CCC) equipped with 720 CCTV cameras in the city will be inaugurated by the guardian minister Subhash Desai and the environment minister Aditya Thackeray, on Saturday. The task of installing the CCTV cameras is underway on war-footing.

The ambitious project aims at providing security to the citizens. The cameras will capture movements taking place at each circle and main road. The CCC project is implemented by the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) as a part of the Smart City project.

The hi-tech CCC is being set up at the police commissionerate. Accordingly, the office will keep surveillance on all the activities through the CCC.
