Aurangabad, Jan 8:

The health employees faced severe chaos during the ‘dry run’, a mock vaccination drive organized at the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) vaccination centre on Friday. Many recipients did not know the actual time of vaccination. The recipients had to stay at the monitoring cells for 30 minutes after vaccinations but many left the cell within just ten minutes. Hence, the Corona warriors will have to face the real challenge ahead during the actual vaccination drive.

The vaccination drive to beat the Corona crisis will begin soon, for which a dry run was organized in the district. The dry run was organized at Cidco N-11 AMC Health Centre on Friday. In all, 25 beneficiaries were called for the vaccination here. Each was verified and then was given entry in the vaccination booth. Later, he had to stay in the monitoring cell for 30 minutes after the vaccination.

The act of vaccination was done on the Asha worker, Aruna Misal and health worker Dagdu Harne initially. The dry run time was between 9 am to 11 am and it had to be completed by 11 am. Hence, there was a chaos to complete the drive in time. The guidelines of social distancing were breached in a haste.
