Rajanandini Sonali Mangalsing Pawar has been crowned Femina Miss India Maharashtra 2026 after emerging victorious in a highly competitive state-level beauty pageant held in Mumbai. Her achievement has brought pride to Marathwada and Maharashtra, placing the city firmly on the national map of emerging talent.
A graduate in mass communication and journalism from Pune, Rajanandini began performing on stage at the age of three and steadily built her foundation through dance and acting competitions during her school years. She earlier won titles such as Times Fresh Face Season 15 and India’s Miss TGPC, which marked significant milestones in her journey into the glamour industry.
Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, she credited her success to the constant support of her family and the social values instilled by her late grandfather Balasaheb Pawar. Emphasising that beauty pageants demand intellect, clarity of thought and social responsibility alongside physical appearance, she highlighted the importance of staying authentic in the age of social media.
Rajanandini is now preparing to represent Maharashtra at the upcoming Miss India pageant and aims to compete at the global level through Miss World in the near future.
