Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The Admission Regulatory Authority of the State Government has asked colleges to provide caste validity certificates (CVCs) for students admitted to undergraduate and postgraduate courses across different caste categories during the academic year 2025-26.

Thousands of students were admitted to the first year of professional degree and PG under the categories of Socially and Economically Backward Class (SEBC), Other Backward Class (OBC), Scheduled Caste (SC), Vimukta Jati (VJ), Nomadic Tribes (NT), and Special Backward Class (SBC).

These students were granted a period of six months from the date of application submission to submit their CVC. Currently, as per the Government decision, verification of admissions for the academic year 2025-26 is underway at the Directorate level. The certificates are being verified and an objective report is being submitted to the Authority for approval through the computer system.

The admission authority colleges asked colleges to upload certificates of students belonging to the SEBC, OBC, SC, VJ, NT, and SBC categories. Because of this, the admissions of these students are kept pending. The concerned students and colleges were directed to upload the certificates on the online portal immediately.

A course- and category-wise list of students from the reserved categories whose certificates have not yet been received should be submitted to the Authority.
