Aurangabad, Feb 19:

The post of the chief executive officer (CEO) of Aurangabad Smart City Development Corporation Limited (ASCDCL) once again has dragged into controversy after Babasaheb Manohare, who was transferred by the state Urban Development Department (UDD) as the CEO-ASCDCL (on February 1), submitted his joining letter on February 18.

It may be noted that the guardian minister Subhash Desai had stayed the transfer. Hence it is hoped that Desai would be taking some big decision in this regard by Monday.

The joining letter addressed to the municipal commissioner was submitted to the district collector on Thursday. According to the sources, Manohare has not visited the Smart City Office for joining. Hence the question now arises whether the charge can be taken single-handedly or not?.
