Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has granted permission to Kamalnayan Bajaj Hospital to start the Covid-19 vaccination centre in the hospital. The centre was inaugurated in the presence of trustee C P Tripathi, AMC medical officer Dr Neeta Padalkar, AMC medical officer Dr SmitaNalgirkar, hospital administrative advisor Dr Kishor Pujari, chief administrative officer Dr Natasha Varma and others.
The trustee and the doctors actively participated in the vaccination drive including Dr Shriganesh Ekbote, Dr Shobhana Ekbote, Dr Satish Deshpande, Dr R B Sharma, Dr Amol Sulakhe, Dr George Thomas, Dr Prerna Devdhar, Dr RajeshSavji, Dr Satish Patwardhan, Dr Neeta Patwardhan, Dr Shravankumar Tungenwar, Dr Sanjeev Purohit, nurses and staff.
Tripathi praised the vaccination drive implemented by AMC and appealed the people to take advantage of it.
Dr Ekbote informed that the vaccine is completely safe and appealed the residents and health workers to participate in the drive.
World Health Organisation (WHO) medical officer Dr Mujeeb also visited the centre. In all, 109 doctors, nurses and staff have been administered vaccines so far, informed the hospital administration.
