Aurangabad, Dec 3:

The sessions court judge, S K Kulkarni, has awarded life imprisonment (LI) to an accused Rajesh alias Raju Bhangarwala for stabbing Shaikh Sadeq Shaikh Sajjad to death with a sharp-edged weapon, over a petty reason.

Sadeq was running a vehicle garage in Vijaynagar. He spotted that Rajesh used to sit near the shop and would eve-tease the women passing by. Hence Sadeq questioned him. In response to which, the accused Rajesh whisked out his sharp-edged weapon and stab to death Sadeq in 2016.

The public prosecutor Vinod Kotecha recorded the statements of witnesses in the case during the hearing. After proving the charges, the court awarded the lifer to the accused held under Section 302 of IPC.

The murder had taken place on October 3, 2016. The court awarded lifer and also fined the accused of Rs 20,000. The court ordered to pay the fine money to the deceased''s wife and dependents.
