A crook duped a woman of her gold chain bluffing her that Sarees are being distributed at their office at Railway Station area on December 30 afternoon. A case has been registered at the Vedantnagar police station in this regard.
Police said, the complainant lady was standing on the road when an unknown person came near her and told her that sarees are being distributed at their office a few distance away from here. Then the lady walked with him towards the office. However, on the way, the man told her to remove her chain as there is crowd of women for getting sarees in the office. The man tricked her and took her chain and fled away from the scene. When the woman realized that she was duped, she lodged a complaint at the Vedantnagar police station.
