Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

Ten co-opted members were recently announced in the municipal corporation’s general body (GB) meeting. After their names were published in the official gazette, they were invited to the headquarters on Tuesday, where they were felicitated and presented with certificates. These ten members will be able to participate in proceedings from the next GB meeting.

At the felicitation ceremony, mayor Sameer Rajurkar, deputy mayor Rajendra Janjal, standing committee chairman Anil Makariye, and municipal commissioner Amol Yedge distributed the certificates to the nominated members. The members were also presented with a ceremonial cap of the municipal corporation, a shawl, a jute bag, and a book based on the proceedings and rules of the general body.

The newly co-opted members present were Harshvardhan Karad, Chhaya Khajekar, Gokul Malke, Vijaysingh Jhala, Amruta Palodkar, Kunal Kharat, Shaikh Ahemad, Mohammad Asrar, Pradeep Shinde, and Shubham Kale.

Group leaders Govind Kendre, Kishor Nagre, Haji Sher Khan, Ganesh Lokhande, and deputy commissioner Nandkishor Bhombe were also present at the programme.
