Aurangabad, Jan 20:

The Cyber crooks hacked two emails of an employee of the High Court and sent emails to several people demanding money on his behalf. The employee has lodged a complaint with the police and suspected his wife and her relatives in this connection.

Complainant, Prashant Ashokrao Wadgaonve is a clerk in High Court. On August 1, his both the emails were hacked and when he tied to change the passwords, it was not changed despite several attempts. Meanwhile, he realized that his friends had received emails from his email ids demanding money from them. Wadgaonve gave an application at the Cyber police station in this regard. The Cyber police then handed over the case to the Pundliknagar police for further action. A case was registered at the Pundliknagar police station. Wadgaonve suspected his wife and her cousin Pravin have hatched this plan, he told the police. The police have started the investigation, informed PI Ghansham Sonawane.
